Hi. In Companions, there is a section that deals with a naval encounter in the Caribbean. In my research, I discovered that US submarines, under COMSUBLANT from 7/12/41, sometimes transited the area on their way to the Panama Canal and Pacific deployment. I selected one for the story and firmed up my research. This article has just popped up before my eyes.
